Position Overview

Weโ€™re seeking a motivated Asphalt Laborer to join our paving crew. The Asphalt Laborer will work on various commercial and residential projects, assisting with the safe and efficient installation of asphalt surfaces. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, values teamwork, and wants to grow with a reputable company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the preparation of job sites, including cleaning and clearing areas before paving.
  • Spread, rake, and level asphalt to desired grades and contours.
  • Operate and maintain hand tools, small equipment, and power tools associated with asphalt installation.
  • Follow directions from supervisors to ensure precise and efficient workflow.
  • Adhere to all company policies and safety protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Communicate effectively with team members to maintain smooth operations.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in asphalt paving or construction is preferred but not required; on-the-job training is available.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects, stand, walk, and kneel for extended periods.
  • Willingness to work in varying weather conditions and environments.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Valid driverโ€™s license and reliable transportation preferred.
