Will Simpkins, Operations Manager
A Northern California original, Will has over 30 years of experience in earthwork and paving as an operator, foremen, project manager, and supervisor. Will’s experience and expertise is vital to keeping Arco’s field operations running smoothly. Will takes pride in his successful management of our projects as is evident in our high quality of work and customer satisfaction.
Faith and family is at the top of Will’s priorities. He enjoys camping, cooking, grilling and spending time with his “wonderful, beautiful wife”, children and their spouses. He also enjoys working alongside of his son who is also an Arco employee.
Buddy Hatch, Estimator/Project Manager
Originally from NW Arkansas, Buddy joined Arco in 2012 bringing 30+ years of experience in the construction industry as a concrete contractor. Formerly a subcontractor for Arco, Buddy’s knowledge and experience adds “concrete” stability and reliability to our staff of project managers. Buddy manages our larger concrete projects, and is proud of the “opportunity to construct” in his home town.
An avid sailor, the Skipper of the Arabella is touted as “One of the best sailors in the Midwest”. Buddy has won the “Grand Cup Regatta” on Grand Lake in Oklahoma as well as the “Arkansas Cup” at Beaver Lake, including the last 3 consecutive years. buddy.
Matt Cravey, Estimator/Project Manager
Specializing in full-scope, large scale projects, Matt has 15 years of experience in the construction industry in NW Arkansas. His ability to manage a project from bid to job close out is supported by years of experience as a project manager for a General Contractor. In addition, Matt’s military service in the US Army is demonstrated by the focus and attention to detail that he applies to all of his projects. Adding Matt to the Arco staff of project managers 5 years ago, provided a solid and capable dependability that owners can rely on for their projects.
A Bradenton, FL native, Matt likes to play golf, camp and fish.
Derek Espolt, Project Manager Coordinator
Derek joined Arco’s Project Management team in 2015 bringing 20 years of experience in the construction industry including quality and safety inspection. Derek’s knowledge of the industry, patience and creativity provides him the ability to work beside our project managers to create a well-balanced project management team. Derek likes the variety of the position along with the camaraderie that exists among his co-workers.
Derek enjoys fishing, playing golf and pool, watching football (rooting for the Hogs), hiking, camping, and riding his Harley.
Traci Sena, Accounts Payable
Originally from Denver, CO, Traci joined the Arco Accounting team in 2014 with 10 years accounts payable experience including time with an excavation company in Colorado. Her knowledge of the industry, accounting, and professionalism is key to providing our vendors the highest quality service and support.
Traci likes to cook, camp, and hike as well as spending time reading her most recent favorite book. Although a Colorado native, she enjoys living here in NW Arkansas and, as she says, “I like the people I work with”.
Breanna (Happy) Holt, Credit Accounts
“Happy” joined the Arco Accounting team after moving to NWA area with her family in 2014 from Scotland, AR. She greets everyone with a smile and adds much fun to an already pleasant, family atmosphere at Arco. Happy claims the best part of her job at Arco is “the people I work with”.
Happy’s favorite hobby is photography which supports her additional responsibilities of managing Arco’s social media campaigns. She enjoys drives through the country taking pictures of nature, old barns, bridges, and flowers, although her favorite subjects are her “beautiful children”.
Shannon Russow, Human Resource Manager
Shannon has been with Arco for more than 7 years and is considered one of the “Corner Stones” of the Arco Family. Capable of performing just about every position in the company, including (concrete & masonry), Shannon applies her talents where they are most needed, taking care of the Arco family of employees through her Human Resource efforts.
Along with managing HR and payroll, Shannon enjoys coordinating all company and charity events hosted by Arco.
Awarded the Mayor’s “Outstanding Citizen” for 2nd Quarter 2015 and “2015 Volunteer of the Year” from the Boy’s & Girl’s Club, Shannon has over 20 years of volunteer work in the local community. In her spare time, Shannon likes to fish, hike & bike the local trails, and spend time with her family.
Teresa Bethel, Payroll
Teresa recently joined Arco’s HR and Payroll Department with a background in accounting and banking. In addition, Teresa has experience with payroll and accounting with her family contracting business. She has a talent for organization which is very helpful when assisting with company event planning.
Teresa enjoys gardening and spending time at the river with family and friends. On occasion, you can find her doing some mechanical work as well!
